Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on regular medication you can ask for a repeat prescription at the surgery or online via the link at the top of this page.

The prescription can be posted back to you if you send a stamped addressed envelope.  If you have not seen the doctor for some time you may be asked to make an appointment before a new prescription can be issued.

In all cases we require 2 working days notice.

Please note: For clinical safety purposes we do not accept prescription requests via the telephone; this enables us to provide a more efficient and effective telephone service for emergencies, appointments and queries.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
